The Comikaze Lounge is excited to have the Caitlin Gill headline the May 15th show!

About the headliner:

Caitlin was a performer at the Outside Lands Festival in 2012, she has been in SF Sketchfest every year since 2007, performed in the Vancouver Global Comedy Fest, was host of the 2009 SF Women’s Comedy Competition and The Ladies Room Open Mic and Showcase. Her writing has been featured in a Believer Magazine project for 826LA. She has worked with some of the best talent in the industry, including Robin Williams, Bobcat Goldthwait, Hannibal Burress, Kyle Kinane, Marc Maron, W. Kamau Bell, Todd Barry, Doug Benson, Arj Barker, Tony Camin, Tig Notaro and too many other names to drop here. 7x7 Magazine featured her as one of the 7 Comics Rocking the Local Scene in July 2011. She was the Tourettes Without Regrets 2011 Slam Champion and a competitor at the 2011 National Poetry Slam.

Cafe Royale is a great place to see comedy.

March 20, 2013 The Comikaze Lounge is excited to have Nato Green top off the night.

Nato Green was summed up more or less accurately by The East Bay Express as, “erudite and acerbic, a San Francisco-raised father, union organizer, gastronome, bibliophile, and political sparkplug.” He appears every Wednesday night with Caitlin Gill, Bucky Sinister, Sean Keane, and rotating guests on San Francisco’s longest-running alternative comedy show, The Business at the Dark Room Theatre. Nato wrote for Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on FX. He recently released his first comedy album, The Nato Green Party, through Rooftop Comedy.

Sadly for us Ron Funches will not be able to perform this month - he got an opportunity to BE ON TELEVISION so we were like “GO RON GO! Do your television thing in LA and come back to us when you have time! Be free and flourish, man!”

But LUCKY for us, Sean Keane will step up and save the night with his incredible wit!

The Comikaze Lounge is a week early this month!

November will be another great month for the Comikaze Lounge!

We are proud to have local favorite Brendan Lynch capping off the night.

Brendan Lynch will top off the evening with his assertive, acerbic and intelligent humor. Brendan has established himself as a comedian to watch out for in the Bay Area comedy scene. He performed in last year’s Sketchfest as a part of the Things We Made comedy show. Brendan’s astute observational comedy will continually surprise you with its bold sarcasm, absurd twists, and hilarious punchlines. His command of the crowd will keep you on your toes and laughing for days.

October will be another great month for the Comikaze Lounge!

We are proud to have local favorite Casey Ley capping off the night.

Casey Ley’s comedy has been seen in festivals such as SFSketchfest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon and the Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas. He is the host and creator of the popular monthly stand-up show “This Feels Wrong” and a weekly comedy game show called “Mayhem Trivia.” He’s been featured on NPR and was voted the Bay Area’s best comic by readers of SF Weekly in 2012

Red Scott - When not on stage, Red explores the myriad of ways an individual can be indoors and fully protected from the sun. His podcast discussing Game of Thrones, “Boars, Gore, and Swords” has twice been featured on BoingBoing. He won the 2010 Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition beating out 146 other comics and performed in 2011 SF Sketchfest. He performs all over the Bay Area, and is a regular at The San Francisco Punch Line, The San Jose Improv, Rooster T Feathers, as well as the usual dive bars and laundromats.

Dhaya Lakshminarayanan - Dhaya is a stand-up comic, storyteller, and TV host. She is a favorite at corporate events as well as festivals like SF Sketchfest where she has performed twice. She will appear at the Boston Comedy Festival in September 2012. She is a frequent storyteller on NPR’s “Snap Judgment” and hosted the Emmy-award winning “High School Quiz Show” on PBS’s WGBH.
